Module 3 · Lesson 6 · 3:26 Sniping and raising your limits Your path: Low limitsChange path Ask a question Snipe mode, daily listings and getting higher limits. Chapters 1If your limits are low0:00 2Snipe mode0:25 3Don't promote sniped listings1:13 4Sniping settings1:51 5Listings a day from your limits2:11 6Get eBay to raise your limits2:54 Transcript 0:00Now let's go over if you have a really low seller limit so let's say you have like 500 up here and like $500 down here or maybe it's a little bit less 0:13Okay so in that situation you want to either manually upload good products and just keep on replacing them or go to research go to snipe and then it's the same you can run custom settings so you can pick out more high -quality products 0:35So let's say you can run six to 20 or something like that so you're actually getting products that sell and then you can run higher higher eBay price they're like what the price range of what it's listed at and then yeah 0:52I mean you can't really post much so you would probably have to run ten five or ten to build trust so the whole goal with the sniping is basically 1:01To kind of basically undercut the seller of the item so you can get more sales and build reputation on eBay. That's just generally the whole idea you do not want to promote your your sniped listings 1:17If you do not have an eBay subscription, which you're probably not going to have an eBay subscription when you go ahead and start sniping because it's not worth doing unless you really want to run 1:30These discount sales because you can't run discount sales when you don't have an eBay subscription as you see I have eBay subscription which gives you free listings but when you first start you're given at least in the US you're given 250 free listings 1:44So you don't really need a subscription when you first start especially if your limits are very low. So you just want to kind of build that trust. 1:51These fees and discounts are really matter I would disable them for sniping. and you don't want it to be included in the price sales tax. 2:01So just that seller will be fine minimum profit. I would run 5 % that would be your sniping and then you would go ahead and say that really limits I would average it out. 2:14So like if you're average, let's say if it's average 30, 40 bucks an item. This is just a high level. 2:21Let's just do 25 for now, right if your average is 25 divide it by whatever your limit is right there. So go ahead and put in 35,000 for example for me at least 2:32For average is 35 35,000 divided by 35 so which is I can basically post a thousand items more at at the cost of 35, right but basically I can post a thousand so then you can go ahead and divide that by 30 2:50Just 34 listings a day and yeah, that's for you guys who do not have large limits just basically and also keep contacting eBay for for an increase if once you get a couple of sales, they'll probably do it 3:07Just keep contacting them. Keep bugging them other than that. 3:11Um, once your account gets trusted they're gonna keep on raising your limits every month or after the first 45 days and yeah, so that's it's more of a long -term consistency 3:25Game
